Why is this contest only open to Winnipeg residents? People in the rural areas of Manitoba change oil and antifreeze in their vehicle too and we drop off the old fluids at recycling depots are our garbage dumps!
Thanks for reaching out and for doing your part to recycle your used oil and antifreeze materials! Rural Manitobans do a ton of DIY maintenance, and we appreciate every drop brought to local depots! This specific survey campaign is designed to measure awareness around Winnipeg-area drop-off locations, and the prizes are tied to specific auto shops located in Winnipeg (which wouldn’t be very convenient for someone outside the city to use). We regularly run rural programs too, our summer Ambassadors participate in 20+ rural events across Manitoba each year, giving out thousands in prizes to local residents. We really appreciate your feedback and your commitment to recycling right!
Great that you take the used products
